Brenna is a Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in the State of Arizona and certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Raised in the mountains of North Idaho, Brenna attended the University of Idaho and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health and Science University in 2003. Brenna served as a staff nurse in inpatient obstetrics and special care nursery before earning a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Arizona in 2008. Brenna has worked as a Nurse Practitioner for the past 10 years in primary care pediatrics and is excited to further her clinical experience in the field of Dermatology.
Brenna views nursing as a profession and a way of life far beyond the scope of a 9-to-5 day job. Her mission is caring for others in a way that promotes and preserves the quality of life. She is competent as well as compassionate and is an excellent communicator. These combined qualities result in the ultimate bond between patient and nurse – one of trust, understanding, and advocacy.
Brenna and her husband have two school-age children who keep them busy most of the time with school activities and athletic events. In her free time she enjoys cooking, hiking and running; she has completed several half marathons and road races and plans to compete in her first Triathlon this year.
