Liposuction and UltraShape Power are both well-known body contouring procedures. Both procedures are great ways to slim and reshape specific areas of the body and improve your body contours and proportion.
So what are the differences?
Liposuction is an invasive surgical procedure. During treatment, an incision is made in the treatment area and a small tube is inserted to remove fat deposits. Liposuction remains the gold-standard for body contouring procedure, as it permanently removes fat. However, it is a surgical procedure and can require downtime. Liposuction is typically a one-time procedure that offers long lasting results.
UltraShape Power uses highly focused ultrasound technology to disrupt fat cells and contour the body. The benefit of UltraShape is that it is non-surgical, requires no downtime. UltraShape does not offer the same amount of fat reduction as liposuction. Several treatments may be required for optimal and long-lasting results.
If you have large fat deposits, liposuction is the way to go. If you’re looking for a non-surgical alternative and have small areas that could use contouring, UltraShape could be right for you. However, neither procedure is intended for weight loss or as a replacement for diet and exercise.
