DAXXIFY®

DAXXIFY® is an advanced injectable treatment designed to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows. As the first and only frown line treatment formulated with a peptide, DAXXIFY® offers a modern approach to smoothing expression lines while helping patients maintain a natural, refreshed appearance.

DAXXIFY® is a prescription neuromodulator that is injected into targeted facial muscles to temporarily reduce the muscle activity that contributes to frown lines. By carefully treating the muscles, DAXXIFY® can help smooth and soften the appearance of these lines for a more relaxed, rejuvenated look.

One of the distinguishing features of DAXXIFY® is its peptide-powered formulation. Results may be seen as early as two days after treatment, but may take up to 2 weeks to see the full results. Individual results may vary, but some patients may see longer results with DAXXIFY® compared with other neuromodulators with the average lasting 4-6 weeks longer.

DAXXIFY® treatments are performed in-office and typically take only a short amount of time. The treatment involves a series of small injections placed into specific muscles.

A very fine needle is used to administer the product. Most patients tolerate the treatment well and experience only minor discomfort. Ice may be used to help reduce sensitivity and minimize the chance of bruising.

If needles make you nervous, you may also ask about our anesthesia option, Pro-Nox. Pro-Nox is a patient-controlled inhaled analgesia system that can help ease anxiety and discomfort during treatment. Pro-Nox is available at a small fee.

DAXXIFY® is a quick, non-surgical treatment with little to no downtime. Most patients are able to return to normal daily activities shortly after their appointment.

After treatment, you may notice mild redness, swelling, tenderness, or small bumps at the injection sites. These effects are typically temporary. Bruising is also possible and may take several days to resolve.

For the first 24 hours, patients are generally advised to avoid strenuous exercise and to avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area, as this may affect how the product settles.
