Dermatology & Plastic Surgery of Arizona was founded by Christopher Weyer, DO, Jamie Moenster, DO, and Marco Swanson, MD, as a comprehensive, dual-specialty practice. We are the first practice in southern Arizona to offer fellowship-trained physicians in Mohs surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery in one office. Together, we can address all of your skin, cosmetic, and reconstructive needs with the highest standards of care and compassion.

BOARD CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGIST AND FELLOWSHIP TRAINED MOHS SURGEON Dr. Weyer graduated from the founding Osteopathic medical school, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. He then completed a traditional rotating internship at Richmond Heights Hospital in Ohio, followed by a dermatology residency in Kirksville, Missouri at Northeast Regional Medical Center.

BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC, COSMETIC & RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGEON A native of Missouri, Dr. Moenster graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO. She then completed five years of residency in General Surgery and two years of fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at South Pointe Hospital/ Cleveland Clinic Health Systems in Cleveland, Ohio.

PLASTIC AESTHETIC AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGEON. Born and raised in Southern Arizona, Dr. Swanson went on to attend Johns Hopkins University, followed by the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. There, he began his plastic surgery training and transferred to Cleveland Clinic, to finish the latter half of his training with a subspecialty focus in Aesthetic Surgery of the Face, Breast and Body.

What should I expect during my first visit?

After examining your records and information that has been supplied to us, we will conduct a thorough skin examination which will be followed by making a diagnosis and discussing your detailed treatment plan.

How soon can I get back to work?

It depends on the procedure and what you do for a living. Most plastic surgery patients are back to work in 7 to 10 days.
