What Is Renuvion?
Renuvion is a minimally invasive skin tightening treatment that combines the unique properties of helium plasma with radiofrequency energy to create a dual thermal effect. It is the latest technology that has been FDA approved for skin tightening.
How Does It Work?
Renuvion works by passing helium plasma energy under the skin. This helium gas is energized by radio frequency waves and this flows over the treatment area. The plasma beam generates enough heat to contact the skin while excess helium gas cools the area. This process tightens and elevates the underlying tissue without large incisions. Wrinkles and poor texture are improved and the skin is tighter and firmer. The Renuvion treatment also stimulates the production of collagen for long lasting improvements.
Am I A Good Candidate for Renuvion?

How Long Does A Typical Treatment Take?
A Renuvion treatment typically takes a minimum of 30 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area and the number of areas being treated. This in-office treatment begins with local anesthesia to ensure a comfortable experience. Tiny incisions are then made to allow the very thin cannula device to deliver the helium plasma to the undersurface of the treatment area.

The helium plasma tightens the skin immediately and stimulates collagen production for months. When the treatment is finished, patients are free to go home to rest for the remainder of the day. Renuvion can also be combined with liposuction or other surgical treatments.
What Results Will I See?
Immediately upon the completion of your skin tightening treatment, you will see that the skin is tighter and firmer. During the next 6 to 12 months, your skin will continue to improve due to the increased collagen production that results from the Renuvion treatment. Typically, patients only need a single treatment to achieve their desired results and these results are relatively permanent.

Is There Any Downtime?
After a Renuvion treatment, patients often experience swelling and bruising for 5 to 7 days. During this time, patients are asked to avoid strenuous activities and allow their bodies to heal. For many patients, the swelling and bruising is gone within 2 or 3 days at which time they can resume most of their normal activities.
